Daviess County, Indiana

Home of Conley family after claiming Indiana territory land in 1823. John Conley raised his sons, including Alexander Thompson Conley, in nearby Lawrence County, Indiana, then moved here to Daviess County near Alexander.

Alexander T. Conley lived in Daviess County and married Rosanna Greenwood in 1856.

The Conleys had a home in Washington Township, and a store in Glendale.

John Waldo Connelly and William Sherman Connelly taught at Daviess County Schools, and Alexander T. was elected to the school board.
